What are these monthly giveaways?
On the last Sunday night of each month, we host an in-game giveaway for our members. Around 10pm server (EST) we form a raid group in-game and meet up at a specific location. Once we have the majority of people in the location where the giveaway will take place, the GM ( Gypsiezimmbi ) will begin the giveaway. Items will be linked in Raid Chat, usually via a Raid Warning with instructions on how to roll on items. Apart from the 20k gold and Mount worth 20k gold or more grand prizes, all other items are free roll by all members of the guild. The purpose of these "Giveaways" is to do something fun and give back to our members. We've had very successful giveaways each month we've run them and a lot of our members really love to participate.

What and how can I donate items for the giveaways?
All giveaway donations should be made through in-game mail and sent to Gypsiezimmbi no later than 10:00 am Server/EST on the morning the giveaway is scheduled for. Guild members can donate mats for professions, enchants, gear (both transmog & crafted ((even end game level gear))), bags, gold, mounts, pets, gems, pots, flasks, etc., so long as the items are tradable. Keep in mind that some items maybe be sold and gold will be deposited into the Guild Bank if too many of a specific item has been donated. The same will happen for an item that we know members won't really want or will likely sell themselves. Items that will be sold do NOT include mounts, pets, high level gear, and the likes.

How do I ensure that I qualify for a chance to win the big prizes?
The giveaway big prizes include 20k gold and a mount worth 20k gold or more. Before anything else, you must be a registered user on our forums as raffle tickets can be tracked easily using our forum which will help in determining who qualifies for the top prizes. Make sure you follow the instructions when registering an account with us! It's very important and ensures that tickets and other important things are awarded to the appropriate accounts.
To ensure that you qualify for these items, you can do a few different things. You can post around the forum to earn points which can be used to purchase raffle tickets via our forums. Once a week, a specific post on Facebook will earn you a raffle ticket just for responding to the post. Also, participating in guild events by signing up for them on the guild calendar and being ON TIME for the guild event will earn you a raffle ticket.

How does the raffle work for big prizes?
Well, pretty simply. All registered users on this forum have the option to earn points and purchase raffle tickets. When you buy or receive a raffle ticket, the amount of tickets you have will show up in your inventory on your user profile page. For each ticket you have at the time of the raffle, your name will be entered into a random name generator. So if you have 5 tickets, your name will be entered 5 times. If you have 20 tickets, your name will be entered 20 times. All names will be entered prior to the drawing. The names will be generated twice. Once for the 20k gold prize and another time for the mount. The winner's name will randomly be selected by the name generator and that person will receive the prize. So, the more you participate, the more tickets you can buy.
*NOTE: For every 1000 gold you donate to the guild bank through Gypsiezimmbi, you will receive 100 points on the forum which will allow you to purchase 1 raffle ticket. The reason for this is simple, in order to ensure the gold and mount can be given away each month, the resources to do so must be available.

How do I become an Officer/Guardian?
The Guardian rank of our guild consists of our guild's officers. Most of the officers were officers in the original guild that resided on the Area 52 server. That said, we've brought in a few more from the current server.
The quickest way to ensure that you never get an officer ran is to ask for one. We don't appreciate people asking to become officers, it's super shady.
If you want to become an officer, show us that you deserve to be one. The Guild Master consistently asks officers and some of the members who they think should be promoted. When we promote officers we look for active people who are honest, loyal, can easily diffuse drama, consistently assist other guild members whether it's with answering questions or helping with quests and other objects, and people who are respectful 99.9% of the time. There's always that .1% where we give some leeway, but not very often.
Another thing to know and understand about our officers is that regardless of the fact that they are held to a higher standard that members because they're in a power of position they are NOT gods. This means they cannot do whatever they want when they want without consequence and they must follow the same rules as our members.
If you are interested in becoming an an officer in our guild, lead by example. You will get noticed and you will be hand picked from the guild to help us out.

I have a problem with a member, what do I do?
If you have an issue with a member of the guild, you should report it to a GM or an Officer (Guardian) immediately. You can do so by sending them an in-game whisper or mail. Be sure to explain the situation in as much detail as possible so that the appropriate actions can be taken against the member in question should the need arise. Please note that we typically give members two strikes. If a member reaches two strikes they will be removed from the guild. Also remember that if there is a member complaint, we will listen to both sides of the story before making a decision as to what actions to take. Any serious issues will result in an automatic kick from the guild, a ban from the Facebook group and the Website.

I have a problem with an officer, what do I do?
If you have a problem with an officer, you should contact another officer or a GM. Officers are not treated differently than guild members when it comes to what’s expected from them behavior-wise. If an officer is contacted by a member due to an issue with another officer, they should contact the GM as soon as possible. Remember, if you need to report an issue with an Officer, include as much detail as possible about the situation so that the appropriate actions can be taken.

I have a problem with a GM, what do I do?
If you have an issue with the GM, contact the GM directly in-game. Try to work it out. She’s not that much of a hard-ass and she’s willing to work with the guild members to reach a solution as quickly as possible. If the issue is something you really just can’t handle, then we understand if you want to leave the guild. That said, we hope that you don’t and that the issue can be worked out in a non-dramatic way.
